Title: If anyone has been considering a Speedhut GPS gauge, now is a good time Post by: Rudemouthsky on March 20, 2015, 05:25:17 AM They run two 15% off sales per year and the second one is happening now. These clocks get excellent feedback from other riders and car enthusiasts. Customer support was great with answering my questions, and they are waterproofing my gauge at no extra charge. You can customize each one for a small charge. I've been waiting for this sale before ordering my own:

Title: Re: If anyone has been considering a Speedhut GPS gauge, now is a good time Post by: Kabulpostie on March 30, 2015, 09:12:11 AM I love the carbon fiber one, is that a custom? I've been looking for it on the site but can't find anything like it. Are aftermarket gauges plug and play? Sort wondering whats involved since odometer would want to match. Also would they have any effect on S2R ECU?
Title: Re: If anyone has been considering a Speedhut GPS gauge, now is a good time Post by: Rudemouthsky on March 30, 2015, 12:07:54 PM They can set the odometer to anything you wish for an extra ten bucks. That CF bracket/mount is some guy from the .ms forum's custom piece for his Supersport. Not sure about how it would play with your S2R ECU but they can build anything, CAN-2.OB, custom made harnesses for most any ECU, etc etc. I have no doubt they have an option that would work. In your case tho I'd imagine you'd flash the ECU to disable the immobilizer and just use their GPS speedo with the tach either off your ECU (they are programmable to work with most car or truck ECU's so I doubt the bike would be an issue) or just keep it simple and use your ignition coils. I'm actually really looking forward to finally having a reliable tach...

And that last one is just fugly. The Chronoclassic is nice tho. Best gauges bar none.

They were really cool to work with...the art dept took it upon themselves to give that an italic slant to match the Duc logo. I think that's pretty rad of em, rather than just crank em out give them some personal attention at a time when they're probably back ordered. Very cool people. |
