Title: s2r 1000 forks in a 620 Post by: wantingaduc on March 21, 2015, 08:17:08 AM I have a great lead on a set of perfect condition, low mileage forks from a 2006 s2r1000 that I would like to install in my 2006 620 Monster dark .
I'm wondering if this would be a "plug and play" swap? Will I be able to use my current 620 wheel and rotors, axle, brake calipers, triple trees and fender? If not what parts would I need from the s2r or what parts on the 620 would need to be modified? Any info you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated. If this will be a simple swap I want to act on the forks before I miss the opportunity. EDIT: maybe your axle doesn't have holes for the damping adjustment. It goes through the fork bottoms and axle. Worst case, get another axle.
