Title: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: Rudemouthsky on March 31, 2015, 04:38:55 PM Anyone interested? I've sent them a message asking if they'd consider an additional discount, but if a few of us got together on one order just the shipping cost savings would be significant. There's a ton of unique stuff on there you don't really see anwhere else that I'm drooling over. Even if just 3-4 of ya'll wanted something we'd probably save a nice bit of coin going in on it. Not to mention that the US Dollar is currently kicking the Euro's ass to the point that OE parts from European dealers are less $ even after the S/H. So now would be a good time.
http://www.desmoworld.com/shop/ducati-monster (http://www.desmoworld.com/shop/ducati-monster) Also keep in mind the listed prices are acually reduced by 19% since we don't pay VAT. The site is in German so you have to be patient, and be sure to browse every relevant section, using Google Translate when necessary. I find new stuff I missed every time I go back. Lemme know what you think! I want the carbon shorty fender for hooped Monsters...a set of the billet headlight screws...set of blinkers they have that I've never seen elsewhere...a kickstand eliminator they have for three freakin bucks...frame plugs...misc billet spacers and other doo-dads..Db killers..some carbon stuff...various hardware at great prices..etc etc. Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: Nibor on April 01, 2015, 03:20:41 AM This would almost be worth it if it wasn't so annoying trying to interpret German! Even after changing it to "English" up top, not that that seems to do much...

If you've any problems you can always give them a call because both Chris and Tina speak perfect English... [thumbsup] Geoff... Time zone differences make calling inconvenient. Not sure about the shipping, but if it starts out with DHL, that is one more inconvenience for U.S. users. I do like their pretty pictures, and would certainty consider them, with or without a group discount, if only the site was usable. Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on April 01, 2015, 10:20:30 AM is there something they have thats super hard to get over here? seems like the same stuff available here, or at least close enough that its not worth the extra $$ and effort.
not trying to be a dick, just not sure if im missing something Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: koko64 on April 01, 2015, 11:31:21 AM Clicking on to the English flag has always worked for me and I'm a dumb olde fart... ;) ;) If you've any problems you can always give them a call because both Chris and Tina speak perfect English... [thumbsup] Geoff... [coffee] Thats what I did. It worked. Got two rear carbon huggers from them that I couldnt source anywhere else. The only German I know is from Hogan's Heros. ;D Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: geoffduc on April 01, 2015, 02:35:04 PM Jeez do you guys need someone to hold your hand???
Like I stated I'm an olde fart and I've managed to source a lot of goodies both for myself, friends and customers so come try a little harder I know you won't be disappointed. Chris personally produces a lot of billet parts in his own work shop, carries a large stock of quality carbon fibre parts as well as most top brands of after market bling. OK so after a number of years of buying from him we've become great friends you may think I have a vetted interest but no my only interest is getting the best quality parts for the bikes that I either own or an entrusted to work on. Geoff... [coffee] Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: koko64 on April 01, 2015, 02:55:02 PM Tinas emails are prompt and helpful too. They have good discounts at times.
Great service. A great go to for hard to find parts when the sponsors dont have it. I honestly can recommend these guys. Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: DarkMonster620 on April 01, 2015, 02:56:46 PM Ich finde keine probleme beim Desmoworld website . . . ;D

They also have a lot of eclectic hardware and electrical items, and their prices are much better on stuff that *is* common, even after s/h. Jeez do you guys need someone to hold your hand??? Geoff... [coffee] I'm in the same boat...clicking the flag changes nothing for me. Bits of German class and similarities in some of the nouns make it a little easier for me, and Google translate works well but it's still a bit of a pain. Maybe the feature works on Oz servers and not U.S...Old N Dumb is far from dumb and I'd like to think I'm at least clever, if not technically intelligent ;) Same here. >:( I tried using their site some time ago and, looking at it today, see that it is still difficult. Standard DHL as in the German Postal Service sucks balls indeed but DHL Express rocks. Relatively cheap as well for a 2 day turn around from 10,000 miles away. Title: Re: Desmoworld Group Buy Post by: Rudemouthsky on April 01, 2015, 03:34:59 PM Have you guys been screwed by DHL Express somehow? I love them. Totally diff than standard DHL which is god awful..a month or more of thinking your $$ just disappeared down a black hole every time..
