Title: exhaust choices
Post by: darksouls on April 10, 2015, 02:46:25 PM
Alright guys im fashion tarded so 05 620 dark carbon everything minus the flat black tank. Definitely want high mounts. Considering mivv and arrow.  cant decide whether to get carbon fiber, stainless, or titanium. already decided against danmoto (cheap) or termi's ($$). Any feedback will be appreciated.

Low mount MIVV's. High pipes on older Monsters look goofy.  :D imho

I am biased towards hi mounts and carbon fiber . . .

Monsterparts has a few systems on both low and hi mount as does Motowheels . .  .

I really dig those low mount MIVV's.  I also 2nd the recommendation to Monster Parts, they are awesome!

Something to consider if modifying your stock cans.  I chopped, cored, and painted the ones on my wife's 620 and I like them just as much as the TBR's on my 620.  Here is a sound clip:

I have been looking to upgrade the exhaust on my S4RS and in the end...I think I am gonna go the core and paint route.

Well ended up getting mivv high mount oval carbon. Reason being with the rearsets i got it deletes the exhaust mount, so it seemed high was my only option. Plus i've never had high mounts. I've looked up air box mods and it seems people just run them with the cover off. Other than a steering stabilizer I think I'll be done. Maybe the suspension. A brief ride on it, seems awful soft.
