pulled apart and cleaned calipers. Now i need the tq spec for the 4 torx bolts per caliper for the two halves to re-assemble. Thanks!
I need to invest in a service manual asap. Got to find me a paper one though.
Been looking at my manuals, nowhere states that torque . . .
Only this:
Braking system: front
Front brake master cylinder to handlebar fastener M6x1 10 Sequence 1-(UP)-2-1
Union on brake calliper fastener M10x1.0 23
Front brake calliper fastener M10x1.25 45* GREASE B
Front brake calliper pre-tightening for settling M10x1.25 2 GREASE B
Union on brake master cylinder fastener M10x1 23
Unions to ABS control unit fastener M10x1 23
Brake calliper bleeder fastener M6x1 4
Think i might just wing it at anout 35nm. Thanks though for the help! It is really appreciated.
Only thing i have found seems to be in German; Guten-tight.

Guten tight would work...
What bolt size are you dealing with? There are 'standards'.
I, personally, am curious as to why you would separate the caliper halves to clean...
OCD? ;D
Trying to fix my caliper dragging problem. Just did. By figuring out my front axle is bent........

had that same issue a few years back . . .
Previous owner smacked a curb i think from the looks of the front rim.
