+1 I've always enjoyed watching races in Imola and seeing Giugliano up there with apparently no rust is great, but is he fit enough to last both races?

Good to see non-British riders up there for a change.

Rea
He's on top of his game right now. All those years slogging that Fireblade around, and Honda basically kicked him in the nuts.

Glad he made the move to a winning bike.

Rea

Showing how good he really is.

Tough day for Ducati...looked like two mechanical DNFs for Davies...ouch!

At least it's something! Seeing Giugliano on the podium was awesome.

Did anyone else notice that Gigi Dall'igna was cruising around Imola chatting up with the Ducati team and was even around over with the Kawasaki boys?  Didn't see him anywhere near the Aprilia camp though and whilst he was on camera a bit the announcers didn't mention squat.

The Eurosport feed made plenty of mention of it.

They even showed Dall'igna giving Giuliano a big hug in parc ferme.

Why was he hanging with the Kawi boys? Just being friendly? Hoping to catch a glimpse?

...trying to convince Johnny Rea he should be on a Ducati.  ;D

...and that he's going to fix the 1199 next.  [coffee]

Something tells me we're going to see the first production V4 Ducati superbike in the near future.

I was watching the direct feed from WSBK website.  Did I just miss it? That's entirely possible you know.  ;D

I actually think they use different cameras in the pit areas. The track is most likely all the same. I saw SBK TV crews doing interviews with the podium finishers in parc ferme on the Euro feed.
