I've got a pair of Sidi Vertigo boots and they're great, but I can't combine them with a pair of Dainese pants. Individually they're fine; combined they don't work at all. I've got big calves and while the Sidis are adjustable, they're not that adjustable. Any suggestions?
i think of myself as a nicely calfed fellow..but oxtar/TCS boots have pleanty of room and adjusment for the fuller calves
yeah. i got a pair of Alpinestars Ridge waterproof boots as a gift. they fit nice on the foot but i guess my badass calves are too manly for them.
What Dainese pants do you have ?
Do you have the mega wide model? (Comes with the superior GoreTex liner.)

I don't have the mega wide model since a euro 46 seems to fit my foot reasonably well. It's the calves. After some experimenting I found that I could pull up the pant legs a bit and get the boots to zip but the lower zipper digs into my leg.
I usually don't whine this much. Honest. :)
You may wanna look at the new Alpinestars Supertech R's. I have a pair and reckon you could squeeze some pretty decent guns in there.
Hope this helps

Teknics makes a pair of boots for BIG CALVES. I happened to see them on the sportbiketrackegear.com site
I'll check them out. Thanks for the ideas.

Which US size do you usually wear? I'm thinking about getting the Sidi Vertigo (normal width) myself and I don't know if I should have the 46 or 47.
My AlpineStars and Thor 50/50 are 12 and (just) maybe a little bit room'y.
Sugarcrook-you're now in the land of motorcycles. Hop on yer wee 848 and cruise up to SF, where the worlds largest Dainese store is. I'm sure you can find something.
Bikergoddess works up there-say hi.
I've been there, but I don't feel like dropping another $300 for boots right now.
