Such a great color combo. The comp works cans are unique too, nice bike!

gotta wrap the pipes still and need to do something with the clutch housing. I saw some nice clear cover conversions... a la Ducabike. otherwise, its pretty much as far as I can go without doing big valve heads and pistal pistons.

Oh damn that matte (grey..silver..titanium..what's it called?) Looks great!

It is looking very nice! However, in my mind pipe wrap would not enhance it, rather I would get them ceramic coated to match the finish on the rest of the bike.

I had pipe wrap on for about a month or so and then needed to remove a section of it and was surprised to see the pipe condition. It was severely discolored and had surface pitting which matched the wrap weave. Luckily I was able to save the pipes with a whole lot of sanding and polishing. I now have polished pipes which are easy peasy to take care of.

Moral of story, if you do a pipe wrap, you can expect the pipes to look like crap if you ever remove the wrap.

Love the pipes. Do you have a link where I can get it?

The reason I want to wrap the pipes is that is melts the heel of my boot. Tried a few options of putting a heat shield on and they all looked like cap.

The colour is a custom blend done by a local paint guy. Started off with Senna grey and added a lil magic. His work is top notch to say the least. That tank was originally a Tricolore tank, because I wanted to run the newer style of fuel pump.

Exhaust is arrow header, custom mid-pipe, and custom cans. It was a Bellisimoto custom exhaust that didn't fit (turns out the measurements for S4Rs and S2R800 are Waaaaaaaay different)  and required significant cutting and welding to work.

What did you do with the tuning? ECU flash or a piggyback?

its actually very close. I priced it out and it probably would have been cheaper to just but an 07 S4R gret tank and tail. the exception is that the S4R has a black stripe on the tank and tail and that wasn't the look I was going for.
