The latches are way different but I've never seen the way the peg part attaches to the seat to say it couldn't be made to work. I know after a certain year too you can lift the tank without removing the seat. I want to say I saw Uncle Mofo do that on his S4RS. Title: Re: 93-99 Monster Seat fit a 2005 Monster 620? The latch is removable from the seat, unlike the newer seats.

I notice that for some reason the 620 Dark has a different part number than other Monsters in that same year range. Not sure why they look to be the same. Anyone know why the part number is different for the dark than for example the 620ie or S2R1000 ?
