I'm having trouble locating online parts diagrams for my '98 M900. My Ducabike clutch slave is leaking after 6k miles (it had all new seals) and I need to check that all o-rings were installed correctly by me.
Any sources? I really just need the clutch diagram right now.
Dunno if this will help, but it may:

98 is the same as '01. Use the ducati diagram available here... http://ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do (http://ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do)
'98 M900: Anyone w/ a Ducabike or aftermarket clutch slave cylinders: do you run an o-ring behind the clutch slave cylinder or the accordian grommet? (if so, what size o-ring?) I know this is just a dust seal.
Thanks! Once I get the alt cover back on and sealed I should be able to confirm if that was the only leak. The alt cover was definately leaking above front sprocket. It appeared to be losing clutch fluid also, so it could have been 2 leaks. Ducabike wants me to mail my 1 yr old/their new clutch slave to Italy and back if I do confirm that it is leaking from its bore. ("they say 2 week turnaround") There are no rebuild kits available for it. Off the bike, when I push the slave piston and pull the lever the clutch slave piston edges are very slightly wet. We'll see if it gushes more and needs replacement once I get the alt cover back on. I'll also install the pushrod from the correct (slave cyl) side this time to ensure it's 2 small o-rings don't tear on the way in.
17 yrs and 35k miles- the original alternator cover is finally leaking. I did the clutch side last year when it finally gave in. Hmmm, maybe I'll have the flywheel lightened also since its 'right there'.
Anyone near Atlanta have a flywheel holder tool I can borrow for a 98 M900? I've read you can damage the crank if you use a clutch holding tool while undoing the flywheel nut. A few are on ebay & Ducatitoolrental.com has them available so that's one option.
One more question: how loose should the shift shaft be with the alt side cover off? Mine moves about 1/2" up and down- is this normal?
