Title: Is it possible to synch throttle bodies if your bike is refusing to idle?
Post by: czen on July 29, 2015, 06:50:04 AM
One of the solutions for a bike that stalls out at start up (refuses to idle) is to synch the TBs. But most of the procedures I've seen for TB synch presume you can idle the bike. Can it be done via "forced" idle, i.e., keeping throttle open?

Thanks for any advice!

Details: 2006 S2R 1000, 19K miles ... for much more detail on problems with stalling bike please see my other post here.

You cam make sure the air bleeds are the same amount of turns out and both throttle blades are open equally.  Chances are good this won't help and might even make things worse if the bikw was running fine, then wasn't and the settings weren't changed.
