Title: 821 monster break in Post by: ThreeExtreme on August 14, 2015, 03:19:31 PM Ok I know this is probably a loaded question... I have 100 miles on my monster. Is it safe to make a 2 hour highway run at a consistent ish rpm? (Under 6k rpm) About 130 mile trip. Any advice would be much appreciated.

A contrarian point of view: A long highway isn't bad at all. Maintaining constant rpm is bad. Easy problem to solve. Just shift between gears every mile. Nice thing about long rides is you break the bike in quickly. |
