Rampage on a rampage

:-\ Why do they pull this crap??
A couple things make me think this is a put-up job/joke. We'll see. If not, [bang]; dammit, Quinton. This seems very out of character for him.
The s/o was telling me about this yesterday. Remember on TUF, he admitted to going to anger management classes in the past? I think he may have had somewhat of a breakdown after being humilated on the show and then losing the fight to FG. He was a good sport throughout the show (may have been due to editting) but those loses had to affect him. :-\

I agree with IZ, he is a pretty proud dude and the loses on TUF and then to Forrest ( He thinks it should have been a win for him) probably didn't put him in a good frame of mind. Lets face is a lot of the guys in MMA are pretty smart dudes but Rampage is as JR would put it "He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but he damn sure is the most dangerous."
Plus the dude has a picture of himself on the truck. Come on!! [puke]
I'm just a little disappointed. During TUF I got to see a side of him I hadn't seen before and I kinda liked the dude. He was funny and seemed to be coming from a good place.I thought he had a better head on his shoulders than that..... :-\

Agreed. I watched the show this season in part just to listen to Rampage make jokes. He was pretty d*mn funny. It seems like we saw some clips of him 1-2 years ago on the DML cracking jokes after a fight. Hopefully, Dana can talk some sense into Rampage and get him back on track for a quick comeback!
This morning they were saying he was being charged w/ a felony. May be a while before Dana has a chance to do anything if they even give him a 2nd chance.
STUPID STUPID STUPID.
That's too bad. I liked Rampage. He's funny, but a great fighter as well. Hopefully he can get this all taken care of and get back to fighting.
Just saw on the news, Rampage was picked up by the cops AGAIN!

Mental condition? Yea hes pretty mental, in the ill kill you dept, not in the sane dept. His nuts and bolts are fine. Hes just a baddass and made a really make the beast with two backsing werid decision to drive on the sidewalk with a truck.
Yep, Irvine PD put him in a hospital on a mental evaluation hold (5150 WIC).
:'( He needs a hug from Britney Spears. Maybe Dr. Phil can help......
I applaud Dana's support, but where was his trainer/coach Juanito? Or his management? I don't know who his agent is; I'm sure if it was The Pav, Ken would be there post haste.

not good!
Any consider that maybe this whole mental issue is a set-up to get him out of trouble?
Just thought I would bring it up.

Oh yeah it crossed my mind too. Remember too that while Dana may be a nice enough guy, he's also very much a no bullshit kind of guy, and people in a lot of these "fringe" type businesses tend to know "stuff" about "stuff". What I'm saying is that if Rampage is acting on Dana's advice, he's probably gonna get this worked out somehow. Also I didn't read where he was picked up again by cops. I read that "concerned" friends took him in.

If Irvine PD Officers were the concerned friends then you may be right.

"Jackson, 30, was cooperative when contacted by the police, who took him to an undisclosed hospital for evaluation."
For those unfamiliar with 5150 WIC. It allows for a law enforcement officer to take someone into custody that they deem is a danger to themself or others. They are then released to a medical facility with a mental heath componet. The hold is a 72 hour hold but the subject can be released as soon as a Dr. deems then no longer a danger to themself or others.
Regarding the earlier arrest. He injured a pregnant woman during his antics. I don't have much sympathy for him right now.
Ouch... I hadn't heard about the pregnant woman. Not good...

Very familiar with the 5150. Not for myself.. [roll] I used to work at a school for the socially/emotionally impaired. :-\ Sad really.
I hope Rampage hurting a pregnant woman was unintentional. Was she 3 weeks or 8 months? May just be hyping up the story. You know the press. [roll]
Like I said, hopefully..he'll be able to make a comeback after this!

I hear you on the press aspect.
Even without a baby in the mix, he injured a woman that was innocently driving down the street. A street I'll add that I drove down not three days before, and that my wife drives down several times a week. In other words, he could easily have hurt some one I know or care about. He wants to throw a fit? Do it somewhere else.

True! Not cool. :-\
So i heard, he's distraught after finding out his managers been embezzling his $$$.

I, for one, am still a Quinton Jackson fan. I hope he clears things up, and gets back on track.

This will make him or break him.

How so?
I'm thinking that he'll either come back from this incident and kick azz or it's going to mess him up and he won't come back at all.

Most of these fighters only have a couple peak years at best. It's become such a hyper competitive sport, if he's gonna come back he better do it fast.
