...and might as well replace that graying clutch fluid with some fresh stuff while you're at it.




You can't escape the critics here on the DMF.  ;D  Pretty looking bike, btw.

 :o I just noticed the brake fluid. Check your pads too they may be worn right down, and for leaks at the banjo bolts.

Very nice bike. A sought after model too.

Same pics on some other forum. Quite telling that those viewers have not yet commented on the low fluids. Maybe they are extremely polite, not as picky, or ______________.  ;)

too bad I was never able to get my hands on the Ate blue when it was available. So now I have to settle with the gold. :'(

and btw, the pads are like new so either the previous owner changed them before I got a hold of her or it was very gently ridden. If you were to solely judge mileage on her by just looking at the pads and rotors you'd say that the bike has around 500 miles on the clock. [thumbsup]

Engine braking.  Maybe the pads are so new because he/she would go from 80 to 20mph by downshifting directly from 5th to 1st.  ;D

The low brake fluid level threw me as the fluid rises when new pads are fitted. The caliper pistons displace the fluid back into the resi when they are retracted to fit the new pads. The fluid level  was getting low enough to suck air, even with the resi bellows.

Its a comment that I've gotten a thousand times, but a dry clutch cover = crash out and u can ride home. But those speedymoto ones are pretty robusts too. Just food for thought. Some people dont think about the crash and thats cool too!

Sweet bike!  The Super Blue would eventually loose color in sunlight anyway.  He Man, your wheels are white?  ;D  Yep, I agree about the clutch cover.  I like this one.
