Its quieter here than a library on finals. Sheesh. You guys riding or the cam section has retired? Pass the prunes and the geritol..... [coffee]
Most of the local forums are pretty quiet.
I think video killed the radio star...if you catch my drift.
Plus, a fair number of folks moved.
Video?
Still here. Actually got back to work on my project bike last week. No idea what else is going on!

I know. By the Buggles. First video played on M-tv etc.
Just not quite getting it in the context here
Meaning something "new" came along and people went to that.
BEHOLD ACTIVITY !

You must be old... ;D
I was trying to revive the section with my thread, which was moving along quite swimmingly but now with me new job, i maybe ride once a week instead of every day. :(
edit: oh yeah, my dad has been doing the bikes and breakfast thing with Duc Pond for the last few times. Wish i could make it, but i work 3am to 9am saturdays...
So I have a new wife, new house, new garage, new workshop, and once I finish getting all this newness configured, maybe I'll find the new energy to work on my DS1000SS "roadster" project:

(Sold the MZ 660 Skorpion super single to the left in the photo above to my brother in law, and it is now out of there.)
So I have no more excuses, except I need to hang blinds in all NINE garage windows, and put up all the hooks & hangars for all the garage/yard implements in the other side of the garage.
Soooo... not full of stuff!
Where's the *stuff*?!

The two Harleys are on the other side of the new garage; because they are being ridden, not worked on. The S4Rs is temporarily in the storage unit, still prepping it for sale :o. The trackbike is going to stay in the storage unit except for when I got to the track or need to bring it home to work on it [because the new garage is not as large as I would have liked it to have been - Fairfax County/herndon zoning laws limited the final size] as are the trailer and the 1967 Honda CL-90. The truck and a bunch of other stuff (lawn mower, compressor, riding gear, shop vac, etc) is over on the other side of the new garage as well. The Corvette and my wife's Ford Edge live in the "old" attached garage.
It's been a Looooooooonnnnnnggggggg haul, but we are almost there.

That's the crap I was talking about.
I'm still jealous you have enough space for the necessary crap, and such a clean working area though... One day...

Hell yeah!
DC you'll have to come out for a visit to my humble man cave sometime, I don't do any serious work/repairs like Tim but the herd is happy with the setup, ping me off list. - Gene

I've been riding my ass off down here in Richmond. The weather is pretty damn nice (being from New Jersey, which is a fistful of suck this time of year). Any of you guys ever get down to RVA or come through on rides?
I've been riding, maybe we should try to schedule a ride to Fredericksburg I can give you some good routes from Richmond and for those up here I might know a few roads to get us south. - Gene
I am now FULLY INVOLVED with splicing/soldering wires to create a new handlebar switch assembly for the roadster project that includes a headlight on/off switch. Woot!
That's a nice pair Kirigakure. The Multi 1200 is the best road bike available and the Monster gives you some air-cooled goodness when you need it.
Have you been happy with the garage/tent in the background? Do you have a link for it?
I'd love to meet in Fredericksburg, I ride in Spotsylvania nearly every Sunday (kickass back roads loop).
The tent I use is the Shelter Logic 6'x6'x6' (http://www.shelterlogic.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductId=743e72ec-5dcd-4181-be05-9df80095b3e8&CategoryName=Sheds). I can get both my Monster and Multi in there at the same time (Multi with side cases and topbox on). I've had it for 2 years, not a single problem with it. I think I paid $129 for it off of Amazon. I used patio tiles (18"x18", $3.00/each) as a floor, works out great.
Who is around next Saturday for a lunch run to Fredericksburg? The food at Cowboy Jacks is good https://www.facebook.com/cowboyjacksfredericksburgva?rf=401891553290134 (https://www.facebook.com/cowboyjacksfredericksburgva?rf=401891553290134) and I hear the food at the Bavarian Chef is great http://www.thebavarianchef.com/fredericksburg.html (http://www.thebavarianchef.com/fredericksburg.html) or other suggestions. - Gene

Count me in for that! I don't know either of those places, so just choose one and pick the time. I'll try to round up some other local Duc riders for this too.
Anyone up for this ride, leaving from Chantilly ~9:30 - Gene
