Title: 2006 S2R
Post by: myducati on November 01, 2015, 04:49:04 AM
Hello,

Had two occasions where I had to travel for work and was gone two weeks. Upon returning bike would not start. Both times I dump the tank and replace with fresh juice bike starts right up.

Is the bike that sensitive to fuel breakdown that two weeks what little water forms will prevent starting? I put in some startron this time. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

Two possibilities I can think of; dumping the old fuel and starting were just coincidence or you failed to change the fuel filter full of bad fuel and dirt.
