Title: another Desert Rat Post by: raddad on February 02, 2016, 09:39:07 PM Gents, I have been riding off and on for 30+ years. Stumbled upon a 2001 900 IE I just could not pass up. It was an Original Chromo model. Needs a tank and a few odds and ends but otherwise it was a steal and seems quite fun to ride around. (IT has a home made tank on it now)
Live in Scottsdale AZ. Shoot action sports photography and Ride bicycles as well. Teaching my son to ride currently and is quite the blast to ride with him. I just got a 2001 900ie as well. It's been pretty good so far. It's a little rougher than I expected below 3k RPM but otherwise it's solid.
