Title: Engine light after swapping back to stock exhaust on S2r1000
Post by: superkain on February 07, 2016, 12:26:00 PM
So, I just removed a full Zard system with o2 sensor, and swapped back to my stock exhaust, but it has no o2 sensor on it.

Bike runs marvelously, but engine light comes on.

How big a deal is this?  I have the plug cover that came with some Termi slip ons, that I can cover the connector with, but I don't have a spare o2 sensor.

Should I be worried?

Take the one out of the Zard?

Yes, I suppose I could.

Just curious, what's the engine doing in lieu of feedback from the o2 sensor?  seems to be running really well, though maybe it's running really rich. haven't smelled any fuel, though.
