Could this frame be repaired to a good, strong & safe standard?

Unlimited pockets? Yes.
Is it worth it? I don't know.
It looks pretty jacked. Will an engine bolt in without usual trouble?

I wouldn't even try to fix that.
Woof yeah... You might be better off tracking down a new frame.
Fixing that is *probably* possible for someone with the right ninja skills. But, personally I'd not be confident of it without a bunch of testing that would make it more costly than just replacement.
Unfortunatley the best guy in the country with those skills passed away some time ago. He was a great guy.
yes, it could be fixed..
If you had a frame jig equipment and skillz, probably an easy job.
I can recommend a couple of people in WA that could, but you'll be paying big time...
