Hey guys, not new to Ducati's but my first monster. It's a 2001 S4 with factory carbon fiber laced spoke wheels that I love. I see lots of threads about single-sided swingarm conversions, which I doubt I could do with my wheels. Do any of the newer (beautiful) DS swingarms work with the old ST frames? Not afraid of a bit of work to get it done. Thanks in advance!
Those wheels are not original to that bike, and I can't imagine what it wuld take t make them work with a SSS.
Oh wow, thought they came on the bike. Either way, not looking to go SSS, want a newer style DS swingarm. Adding a pic of the wheel: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwyipXeNBmhgUUhiSVdrWjZvQ1k (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwyipXeNBmhgUUhiSVdrWjZvQ1k)
How about painting or PCing your swingarm gloss or satin black?
Thanks for the suggestion, if I can't find a different option I'll roll with that.
If you're very diligent you may be able to find one of these swingarms:

Now that's beautiful! Probably nestled up to a unicorn munching on 4 leaf clovers.

Yep. Unicorn stirrups, very rare. ;D
The newer ST4s aluminum swingarms polish up nicely, if that's your thing...
I think that's the same one I have on mine, thinking more late model like a 696, they are cheap and I think look pretty good. Trying to post a pic using my phone but not much luck.

shock mount with a 696 swing arm is waaaaaaaay different.
Shock mount I can deal with as I'm doing some fab and welding on the frame, just don't want to machine cases like some have done for other swaps. Any idea if it or any other late model will mount up pivot and width wise?
