Just wondering what the difference between units really is. I could see that maybe injector plugs mught be different between some models or the length of the wires, but basic operation would remain the same. My suspicion is the the only difference would be the mapping.
If thats is the case, could you just get any unit, flash with the map you need and go from there?
Wouldn't the ecu connector be different between the different ecu manufacturers. That would be harder to source I'd think.
Pc5 plug into the ecu?
The PC3 i have on my m1000 is just injector plugs, and tps signal
Maybe not, but if it doesn't it seems like just like putting a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room and having them fight it out.
I don't know about the PCV, but my PCIII only connected to power, tach signal, and injector wiring. Nothing to do with the ECU.
Same with the Power Commander III's and V's and Power Commander Fuel Controllers. One Earth wire to battery or frame, one TPS Tap Lock style connector and the interface with the number of injectors. Pretty nifty. Even tidier when power is picked up via the injector connections. [thumbsup]
The Bazzaz did more but was a whole other loom.
Can you auto tune with the bazzaz? Mighy be a good option
If you buy their Autotune add on unit like Powercommander offer.
