Ducati Monster Forum

During the week every once in a while i would meet up with other human who rode monster and had a good time.  Sometimes on our spare time we would talk zhit on a forum called the ducatimonsterforum.  WTH happended.  Spring is near....  lets ride.... [Dolph]

CAM certainly has ground to a halt. To be honest, the entire DMF seems to have slowed down. I'm not sure if the "era del Mostro" has passed or if folks have just moved on to other things. I haven't owned a Monster since 2007, but that hasn't stopped me from visiting this site. ;D

If someone re-started the weekly meet-ups, I'd show up every now and then. Hint.  ;) I imagine it would start out pretty sparse and maybe it would never catch back on, but it might be worth a try. I say this in full recognition of the fact that I lack the initiative to make it happen myself, but would support someone else if they should be so bold.

A weekly gathering ,with zhit talking sounds favorable. This week no, next week would be better.

I've given this some thought, and I blame the smarphones and by extension the internets.

Since my Rhodeside days, I've been divorced, shut down my company, worked for two other companies, sold my home of 32 years, bought a new house, remarried, built a new garage, had two grandchildren born, and sold my S4Rs Monster.

However, I just finished building a "monster-like" Ducati (which Lars helped get started and test rode yesterday!), and would love to have a Rhodeside re-union.

I can't get back there weekly as I did when I was single and drowning out the sorrows from the failure of my first marriage, but....

... anyone else?

I'd like to wait until I get the project bike running properly.  It's currently in the shop; it might need a new ECU, or at least, a custom tune download.

Right now the only street motorcycles I have available to ride are (ahem) Harleys, and somehow it doesn't seem right to ride one of them to a CAM meet-up.

Of course, if everyone else is in (whoever "everyone else" is, these days!) then I will rumble down there on a hawg, and take the resulting abuse.
