Title: Will it work on a 2007 S4RS? corse-dynamics-non-slip-eccentric-ducati-chain-tool

Does anyone know if there was a change from the 2007 S4RS to the 2008 that would keep this tool from working on the 2007? For some reason the 07 is not listed in the details

No difference AFAIK  [thumbsup]

If possible, get one with a longer handle or add one - short handles is asking for bruised/bloody knuckles...

thanks, it's a little tricky searching for these because, it seems, everyone has a different name for them

If the non-slip feature works, maybe length isn't as important to protect your hands. Length would help if the hub is dry and/or sticking.

I guess "ducati chain adjustment tool"

A quick google didn't show any with a longer arm  ???

Its a spanner. but more specifically, its an eccentric spanner. Named that because it is used to adjust the hub which has a hole that's eccentric to its center line.

Anyone with a diameter within reason will work. Shock adjuster spanner would work too if it could fit in that thing area and had a large enough diameter.

That's what I used when I had my S2R. I have a 240sx with Tein coilovers and the ride height adjustment spanners were a perfect fit.
