Title: 50,000 MILES!!! Post by: mostrobelle on July 17, 2008, 04:43:42 PM ....I know I've been a little absent lately, but I've been busy planning a wedding. ;D My last day of work was today and I had been noticing that I was going to get really close to 50,000 miles. Well, about a half mile from the house she clicked over....
50,000. It's like my bike wanted to give me a wedding present. <sniff, sniff> See you all in a couple of weeks after the honeymoon. :-* Enzo says HI! Title: Re: 50,000 MILES!!! Post by: Juan on July 17, 2008, 05:15:37 PM congratulation to you and your bike....!!! [wine] [bacon]

I think I've seen threads about your bike.... Is this the same one that you can't wash because the dirt helps hold the bits together? ;) Title: Re: 50,000 MILES!!! Title: Re: 50,000 MILES!!! Post by: MendoDave on July 18, 2008, 12:58:14 PM Im sure it works fine at 50k. Do you have much corrosion from the salt air? That stuff is impossible to keep away entirely.

I wonder if Desmotosport would do a free valve adjustment as a wedding present? Title: Re: 50,000 MILES!!! Post by: CharliesAngel on July 24, 2008, 04:30:07 PM 'Belle - congratulations on both! [wine] [wine] [clap]
Title: Re: 50,000 MILES!!! Post by: mostrobelle on July 31, 2008, 11:31:43 PM Congrats! I wonder if Desmotosport would do a free valve adjustment as a wedding present? I'd normally try to push it, but they're already pretty good to me. ;) Funny thing is that both Enzo and I are due for valves. I think I'm just going to get up one Saturday morning and do it. My record, with Enzo's help, has been 4 hours for 2 bikes--both needed minor tweakings. The hubby and I are heading out for a "Groom and Bride Ride" tomorrow. We never have the chance to do a ride during the week and I have an interesting destination in mind. [thumbsup] |
