Title: Italian food, Italian bike... what's not to like?
Post by: Charlie98 on May 15, 2016, 05:36:35 PM
Most weekends I take the Monster up 543 to Weston, and then 455 east to Anna.  There is an Italian restaurant next to the Flying J that my wife and I like to eat at, and that has sort of become our 'thing' each weekend... I take the Duc, she goes in the pickup, and meet there to eat.  It also allows me to keep track of how tore up 455 is, and where...  [bang]  I'm guessing they are going to be tearing it up and chip-sealing it all the way to the county maintenance cut-off (near the small bridge) one small section at a time, so it's going to be a while.

Anyway...  I get to eat what I think is very good Italian food, while gazing out at my Italian mechanical marvel...  and the filet with some sort of crazy sauce and fried onions wasn't bad, either!

It was my reward for completing several tasks on the Honey Do List...   [cheeky]  ...and glad the rain held off.

Ran back down 455 to Celina when I was done... some idiot on a Suzuki was passing everyone on the double-yellow.  I need my CDL too much to do tricks like that.

No one here would ever cross double yellows........

Certainly the stalwart and ethically festooned members of the DFWM obey ALL traffic laws all the time (ATLATT vs AGATT.)

There's a time an a place for everything...
