Title: New member from Dallas, TX Post by: Jo3f1sh on June 04, 2016, 01:40:04 PM Hi, all. Just recently purchased an '04 Monster S4R with 13k and thought I'd join you guys here. A bit of an interesting trade, I sold my Thruxton for it, but ended up getting a pretty good deal on the Monster for less than what I actually sold the Triumph for, so it worked out alright.
I do all of my own work on my bikes, so I'm hoping to absorb as much information as I can here regarding maintenance and future mods. I've already done a few things to it, and the previous owner had put quite a few toys on it to get the ball rolling. Coming from the Thruxton, the Ducati is on an entirely different level. I haven't had this much fun on a motorcycle since I started riding. I agree... and welcome! Even coming off a liter-class CBR, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to just ride! The Monster brought that all back... |
