Title: 2005 Monster S4R Turn Signal Flash Rate Question

My 2005 S4R has a tail chop with an LED brake light with integrated indicators. The left turn signal flashes at its normal rate, but the right turn signal doesn't. It will flash twice at the normal rate before rapidly flashing.

I know LEDs have lower resistance than incandescent bulbs, but why would one side be seemingly ok and the other not? Is this something to do with load balancing? If so, what is the best way to correct this issue? I'm guessing diodes, or the use of a load balancer, but I'm not sure and I'm looking for a more experienced opinion.

It needs resistors to mimic the load of the incandescent bulbs.

In my experience, this eliminates the bizarre behavior, and restores normal blink rate.

OK, I assumed this would be the advice given.

Do you have a recommended resistance to add?

 Also, where in the circuit should I ado these/what is the best method to implement the resistors?

They're wired in parallel with the blinkers, usually under the rear seat.

They do get warm, test them to make sure they're not going to get too hot for whatever they're touching.
