I'm sure there's more than a few errors in there. For instance, the digital dash that came with the 2000 Monster!
That was 2002. My 2001 Monster doesn't have the digital dash.
This was the electrical setup/dash that needs the red key right?
The 750 with the Pantah engine was a short run but the 750 a failure? They made them up through 2002.

I reckon, there are more 750 than 620 . . . It has a different character than the 620 or even the 800 . . . the 600 carbie, is another story, have riden a few and each one rides as good as its service history while the 750 I've riden, regardless, have more or less the "same" personality in one way or another . .. Have riden few 800s with MM ECU and yes, there is a difference in "butt feel" between the M800-S2R800-796 . . .
Timeline given is mostly EU while rest of the world got models between a year and half year later . . . My own M620 is a "mistmatch of shelf parts" . . . VIN stating is a 2005 while Ducati says it's a 2006 . . . Got an IAW5AM ECU instead of IAW59M . . .
And while Ducati, quitely is going back to MM ECUs, mostly in models that had the MELCO ECU, Monsters keep, IMHO, loosing what made them who they "were"
I don't have the time, or give-a-damn to correct all the mistakes and gross omissions of that article.
Suffice to say, it's brief and likely written in haste using whatever search engine provided in their #1 hit. [roll]

Yea, no failure there, I've got over 40,000 miles one one and the the only issue I've had to correct was the ground cable corroding so bad it failed.
