I have a small hooligan moment story.
The other day while downtown, in a trendy part of the city, I had my Monster parked on the street, backed up against the curb. When I came out of the store, there were two guys standing close behind my bike. Within a yard of the bike. As I walk across the street to my bike I see them glance at me.
So I take my time putting the tank bag on and zipping up my jacket and such, and the two guys are still standing right behind my bike, yackin' away. I think to myself that I could mention that they might want to back up, but then "Nah!" If there was a kid or a woman there I would have, but these two trendoids saw me walk up to the bike and prepare to ride, so they get what ever happens to them.
I set the fast idle, turn on the key, wait for the immobilizer to disengage, and then let her full throated pod filtered glory rip. [evil]
I was watching them in the mirror, and boy did they unass the area in an expeditious manner. [laugh] All the while giving me the stink eye.
The only thing that would have been better was if the car I was parked next to had set off it's alarm.
So what's your hooligan moment? 8)
First of all Krolik..you're a douche! ;D
In regards to your previous comments on another thread, I don't care if it's nice weather in the PNW since I've left. It's Perfect here and it will continue through the winter months!! [cheeky]
Second..too bad you don't have straight pipes! [evil]

i rode down a wrong way ave onto a sidewalk and onto the highway today, then did a nice wheelie thru a red light. I thought it just turned yellow, but it just turned red when i 1/4 block from the light.

its not my fault their cabs just happen to run into my boot when it was flailing violently [cheeky]
I have plenty of hooligan moments with my dual sport, long travel suspension breeds hooliganism! [evil]
First off, jumping curbs becomes part of your daily commute [thumbsup].
I've done some U turns on grass/dirt medians when traffic is too heavy.
And lastly, I was jumping a rail road crossing in some rural part of the county. [moto]
At Florence, on the Oregon coast the weekend before last, I drove to South Jetty.
South Jetty road has an annoying double-yellow the full length of it, and an oddly placed 35 mph speed limit. I got stuck behind a minivan all the way out to the end of the road. Didn't pass in the double-yellow on the way out, but was nevertheless impatient. On the way back, I passed a slow SUV in the double-yellow, and, when the resulting super-long empty straight stretch with no cars and no turnoffs beckoned, cranked it. I managed to reach 3.4x the posted speed limit before I felt vindicated enough to slow to a more sedate speed.
The street my apartment was on was closed while they swapped out the temporary (5 year) bridge for a permanent bridge and only a pedestrian bridge was open. A couple times I rode my bike over the foot bridge since I didn't wanna go all the way around the block.
Once I was sitting at a red light by the junior high school with no cross traffic around. Then a little girl comes up to the intersection and looks at me sitting at the light all by myself with nobody around. Just as she steps off the curb (she doesn't have the cross signal and I'd been sitting there a while) I blip the throttle and she jumped 2 feet in the air back onto the sidewalk. Right after that the light turned green for me and I sped away. Ironic thing is that I got a $25 ticket for the doing the exact same thing she did at the same intersection while I was in junior high.
