Title: Re: MISANO MOTOGP---Spoilers abound Post by: koko64 on September 11, 2016, 03:32:05 PM Pedro did the same kind of block pass to the Golden Boy. Makes 'em pick up the bike as they arc in back to the apex, but the passer occupies that space. Hard but fair nowdays, but was once considered bad form unless everyone knew the rider's hated each other which made it understandable (e.g. Schwantz/Rainey). If you go wide at all you cop this move. The sport has evolved. It's as much stealing the line as a pass. MM is very good at it but brutal. Pedro is doing it now, because he has to and has adapted which is good for him to come out of his shell. VR always has been able to do it but very smoothly with finesse. People don't like it because they get baulked. I can't imagine what it's like at the pro level of speed.
It makes you unpopular in club racing. ;D Title: Re: MISANO MOTOGP---Spoilers abound Post by: Needle99 on September 11, 2016, 03:43:03 PM Good race by Dani.
