FP3 was brutal, yard sales galore.
Hopefully no serious rider damages.

MM crushed 'em in Qualy.
Didn't watch FP4 but reportedly has got them covered on race pace as well.

I think the only thing they saved off of that Duc was the gas cap, and it had a big scratch in it.
  :P

I think this race will have the highest repair bill for the season.

Poncharal looked like someone shot his dog.

“At that moment I was conscious but I didn't remember where I was. I said, 'OK, I'm standing, my bones are all together,' so I came back to the pits. But when I went back out I didn't remember where I was. I was quite scared."

Yeah saw that. Amazing how the plates took off. Pressure plate must have been destroyed.

So now the math begins. For Rossi would need to win all races and MM come in 5th for Rossi to win. Pretty much done deal.

Helluva race in person!  Wow!

MM raced hard.  JL actually showed up and raced hard (great to see!). VR...well, I dunno what happened there.

Didn't get a paddock pass, so no signatures for me.  Moto2 & Moto3 were awesome!!!!

Had a blast!  [Dolph]

 [thumbsup].
I strangely feel at home in Spain. Was there about ten years ago.
Another good race. MM made a great front end save then let the hard front tyre warm up to temp before pushing again. Good to see JL get his confidence back.

Did Ducati gamble on soft tyres?

Cheers Kopf.
Had another look at the slow mo crash. You could see the clutch drum posts sheer off and clutch parts spat out (makes one consider the risks of exposed clutches). Then the crash impact flicked the plates into the air like ninja throwing stars.

Did Petrucci later get a penalty during the race for some passing infringement?
Edit: it was an incident with team mate Redding.

Petrucci jumped the start. The clutch coming apart would be the last thing you'd worry about with that impact.  ;)

Petrucci's ride through was because of the incident with Redding Kopf...says so in the link you posted, and was reported on motogp.com by the commentators.

Yeah. I missed that during the race. I was standing too close to the TV screaming at the screen.  :D That's why I posted that link. I swear they were talking about bringing him in earlier for the jump.

Monkey reckons he may have had a bike problem which caused the incident but Redding said the problem was Petrucci's "make the beast with two backsing brain". ;D

Good reading. Redding is very angry understandably.
