Hi there! The name's Salah. Living in Madrid.
Last bike, States side, was a 1200 Bandit.
Been riding since 1979. France, UK, US, Canada, and "soon" Spain. Quotation marks 'cause they don't recognize US licences here, so had to go back to school and start the process, all over, from the beginning. [coffee] A humbling experience for this badboy to be sure, especially in a new language. And with all the red tape... Ya gotta reeeeally want it... But I've got the bug bad, so...
Short of actually riding, I spend time scouring this Forum for interesting info, and the local classifieds here for details on that well-maintained S2R 800 that's just right for me.
Cause I can't wait to put some of the FANTASTIC advice I've gleaned here to good use!
Cheers.
Welcome [thumbsup]
Take your bike and/or credit card and visit Pepo 8) https://www.facebook.com/XTRPEPO/
Very cool shop.
Thanks for the tip. I came across Pepo a couple of months ago while browsing and he is indeed a remarkable craftsman. But I think he's quite out of my league, from what I can tell from his high-end race products. [bow_down]

He does projects throughout the complexity and price range - doesn't hurt to ask - unless you write a blank check ;D
Thanks Koko64! And thanks Stopintime, I didn't know he was so diversified in his range. I'll try to get over my awe and give him a buzz or, even better, stop by his shop. Even if only to be up close to one of his bikes!
