Title: New Bonnie Bobber
Post by: koko64 on November 17, 2016, 02:45:14 PM
Very good representation of a Bobber with real effort to capture the details of the era. For example, the throttle bodies are cast to look like Amal Monoblock carbs! I lost the link but someone will find one. A 19" front wheel would have been better than the 21" wheel imo but it is a good effort. 1200 motor with torque the main objective.
Not bad.

That looks better with a 19" front wheel than the one I spotted with a silly skinny 21" wheel.
See the "Amal" throttle bodies? That's a fair bit of effort.

I went to the local premiere party for it at a local dealer in Nor Cal. It looks really good. It's not really my style but they definitely put some thought into the styling. I do wish they would of started it though.

Not my cuppa, but I agree with the author of the article that it will take sales from the Sportster.
