Title: Key relocation / Tank mount ideas Post by: chipripper on November 22, 2016, 02:10:42 PM Request for PICS or other explanations.
I have found a few threads that mention different ways to secure the tank after relocating the key, however, the pics are all gone since the threads are aged. One mentioned a bracket under the tank with a bolt nut to hold it down. The other a leather strap of some sort. Anyone with their key relocated care to share how they are holding the tank down? Title: Re: Key relocation / Tank mount ideas Post by: Duck-Stew on December 04, 2016, 05:54:33 AM I built two custom bikes with relocated ignition switches. One retained the original latch and the other had a bracket welded to the underside of the tank for a thumb-screw to be threaded in.
