Hondas looking strong, as is Kopf's boy. Rossi currently out of top 10 at present with 3 hours to go today. He made a big save earlier today.

They're running a different camera angle at one of the turns (I think it's new) Anyway it's a pretty cool angle.  [evil]

Why isn't Stoner testing in his backyard? Did they think he would overshadow everyone else?

Anyway, the past few years you would see some of the backmarkers showing some good speed during these tests, but that does not translate to actual results. Of course, considering the weirdness of last year, you can't assume that the all have the potential to win on any given Sunday. MM won his championship last year the old fashion way, being more consistent.

Now, I've seen MM, Maverick and Crusty being very consistent. The rest of the field have been all over the place.

Maybe this. He would have done well. Stoner and Rossi have owned that place over the years.

"There was one run that I go out and I saw that he passed," said Marquez. "There was some gap. Then I was able to recover this gap. Then I follow him two laps and [it was] interesting, no, to see a different bike."

Nope, move along, no mind games to see here.   [laugh]  [popcorn]

I don't think he was playing any mind games, although kopf's boy didn't like it. He was definitely taking notes on Maverick. After all...he'll be his competition this year. ;D

I'm not a Honda guy, and when Marquez entered the top class I figured he'd crash and burn.

It really is impressive how much his racecraft has improved in a few short years.

Another thing I like about him is that he always makes it appear that he's having fun. Too many riders make it seem like a job they don't enjoy.

I know it's their job, but if you don't like the best job in the world your name must be Jorge, or Mat. ;D

My job is massaging and oiling female beauty contestants and models in the comfort of their homes or hotels.

They are usually drunk and horny.

My job sucks

I don't know the intricacies of MotoGP pilot contracts, so forgive me if I'm misled, but you get paid the same whether you have fun or not, right?  So...

AFAIK, there's substantial performance bonuses based on finishing position.

I think Cal, Jack, Maverick, Dovi, and Iannone saw some epic paychecks.

Not to mention that you're either gunning for a factory spot, where the real $$$ is, or fighting to keep it.
