Title: 1100DS Valve Guides
Post by: MonsterRider on May 08, 2017, 06:43:28 AM
Was wondering if anyone knows why valve guides on the 1100DS have been superseded with a new part number that costs 10 times as much.  The old valve guide part number, 30310411C ($29) which is the same as the ones that replaced the bad 1000DS guides has now been replaced by 30310681A ($211).

I've got both a stock one (NOS) and a KMPI one on order.  Will decide which one goes in later.  I just can't find anything one the web that explains why the change and why the new part is 10 times the cost (without the sarcastic because its a Ducati answer).
