Carby 900ss - clutch completely removed in anticipation of new slipper clutch arrival tomorrow (was supposed to be today). Assuming I have the rod in place and no oil can get out, is there any reason I shouldn't run the bike while it's removed? I want to address a tuning issue while I wait.
Could only find one answer to this question on the netz...
Thanks...
Tune away.
Don't let anything get caught in spinning bits.

Assuming no oil can get out requires that the basket be bolted to the primary gear as those holes are open to the oil too.
