Has anyone installed the pro shift kit from Motowheels.com on their S2R 800?
I have everything apart, but can't get the 32mm nut off.
I've been searching for the tool to hold the inner basket from spinning so I can remove it, but can't find it.
Is this the shift detent arm from Factory Pro??

There is a tutorial on Clutch Removal, I believe it was by Spankyduc. Avoid the holding tools as they are for dry clutches, and the 848 ones will not work the drum is a different pattern. Get a buddy to hit the rear brake, while you break the nut with a breaker bar. The Pro Shift instructions instruct you to loosen the shift drum detent, in hind sight I don't think that was necessary. Its was a little challenging to get to and it is a very shallow head, I had to use an offset box wrench(27mm) to get at it. The shiftkit resetting spring is a bit challenging to deal with.

I use the Factory Pro detent arm in both my Ducati's and like it.
My M695 is very similar to the OP's S2R800. On these bikes you need to be careful to properly re-install that big nut. They have a habit of backing off on the wet slipper APTC bikes. There are lengthy threads here on that topic. Some of those threads show makeshift tools to hold the basket. I used the beefy Ducati holding tool that mounts to the basket and also the primary gear shaft. Whatever way you go, make sure to correctly torque it and use the proper thread locker and treatment!
