One major step up point from the current model Neotec is that the Neotec ii is P/J homologated (in the video, it's called dual-homologated). What it means is that the helmet has been tested and approved to offer protection in both chin guard up and down position. While it's not legally-relevant in US (it IS legally relevant in EU, ECE 22-05 country), it is a nice thing. Because, while I personally I wouldn't ride in chin bar up position, a lot of riders would like to do so.
