Title: G'day from Aus
Post by: RaptorF22 on February 19, 2018, 12:26:15 AM
Hi everyone,

Posting this so I can post a question, as per the rules.

New rider from Aus, still considering what first bike to get and learning bit by bit the massive world of motor bikes.

Cheers

Welcome Mate!

There are a few Aussies here.
👍🏻🇦🇺😃
Where are you located?

I’ve got to ask, but by first bike, you mean first Ducati right?

Ducati have a few LAMS approved Monsters including one with ABS, the 659. It’d be a ripper first bike. There’s a few on Bikesales now for between 8.5 - 12.5k.

There’s also Monster 400 and 600 and a 620 too I think which are all LAMS approved for around the 5k mark.

Then again, there’s the new Scrambler model 62 that’s available. Depends on what you like and what your budget is.

If you’re not familiar with Ducatis, they’re higher maintenance than most other makes, due to their desmo valve system and the belts that drive them.

It’s all part of the Ducati experience.

Welcome [beer]

The M620L is the LAMS version slightly restricted to qualify. Great bikes.
