Only a handful of incidents, but all of them during the last few years so it's time to fix this. It's NEVER a good time to have an electric break down. There were so many visible dry, brittle, corroded wires just off the connectors - which BTW mostly were fine. Factory new is ~ $ 1,000. Not a single used harness for my bike for sale, but cross referencing the part number showed the 695 with the same harness. At least 10 of those online for around 100 each. Known and professional ebay vendor had one from a bike with 4,000 miles. Got an S2R 1000 rear sub harness as well. Five five hour shifts at a friends house. Two hours work, two hours chatting and one hour tea time - no rush [coffee] "Known and professional ebay vendor" ship a 696 harness....
