Hey guys...
I lifted my tank for the 1st time to day to replace my air filter. plastic fuel quick connector is leaking after. I just inspected the fitting by turning on the key and letting the fuel pump cycle.
I inspected the O rings on the connector and they look fine (this was the 1st time they came off) and I coated them with silicon before reassembly.
Any ideas? I've seem metal fuel connectors available for older monsters. But none for these...
THANKS!
never mind what I said... the top black o ring in nicked :-X :-X :-X
Do we have a source for these? Ducati parts are only showing the entire fuel line. The o rings or even just the connector is not listed.
Maybe give Ca Cycleworks a call, these might fit

Thanks!
I ordered viton rings from:

Do you guys have any tips on installing this connector without jacking the o rings? I'll give them a light coat of silicon grease.
Also are there any metal quick connect conversions out there for this bike?
Thanks again!

Just grease the orings lightly before assembly. Be prepared to replace if they've been on there a while. The grease can dry out causing the oring to stick and tear when disconnected. The orings can also take a compression set and harden over time. I normally use a lithium grease. Viton is a good material choice. Cheap insurance to replace the orings if you need to disconnect and it's been in place for a few years. The plastic connectors can also get brittle over time and break when you squeeze them to release.
