What are the s2r Production Numbers 800 & 1000 ds? How many built and imported into the US per year? This should be a relatively easy thing to look up; but nothing forth coming via google ... s2r 800 - ATCP clutch; sss; dual shotgun exhaust was built from 2005-08; how many were built per year? s2r 1000 ds; dual sparkplugs; Dry clutch; sss; dual shotgun exhaust was built from 2006-08 with the desmo duo valves; what were the production numbers on that per year and imported into North America? - and - as an aside; could one put the ATCP clutch components (..not the plates ...;)- ) in the 1000 dry; or does it rely on oil? cheers [popcorn] Title: Re: s2r Production Numbers 800 & 1000 ds? I don't understand the appeal, though. I find they start slipping under power after 15k miles or so. I swapped for an equivalent mileage regular clutch that was fine for another 12k miles.
