What has been your experience with these filters? Worth it?
I have zero experience, but I seem to recall lengthy discussion re size of particle.
I think the decision was 100 microns was too big for finely tuned Italian steeds.
I'd guess probably linked to oil change intervals, too.
PC Racing PCS5 SS Flo filter states filter catches items down to 35 microns.
I think I read that most conventional filters are around 10 microns. It's been some time though, so I could be wrong.
My gut feeling is I don't trust reusable oil filters, but I may be totally wrong. Some people feel the same about air filters and I use K&N air filters so I'm not consistent. Reusable air filters can be open to criticism too, but I trust being able to service air filters. I have an ultrasonic parts cleaner which I could use to service reusable oil filters, but I feel safer using disposable oil filters.
Don't listen to me, I don't like the idea of eating kidneys or liver either ;D

And rightly so! Yuck! 😖

false economy
True that. I forgot to calculate it:
~$100 for a stainless reusable filter
~$10 for a decent regular filter
Doesn't break even until 10 oil changes at 30k miles. If you have a newer bike with longer oil change intervals the break even point is even farther away.
Research what aircraft turbine engines uses for oil and fuel filters.

I care about filtration more than the time it takes for something to pay for itself. The steel filters don't filter as well as the regular paper filters. Saving a few bucks at the cost of engine wear is the false economy that I was referring to previously. Gimmick.

Ok, I could goggle it, but why not enlighten the DMFers ;D
