Title: Monster 620 Replacement Chain Post by: jakez70 on June 26, 2018, 01:28:20 PM I need to replace the chain on my 2003 Monster 620, and I'm having a hard time finding replacement size information. I purchased this chain back in November, but now I'm thinking it is the incorrect size. Any information, or sources is appreciated. https://www.denniskirk.com/110823106.sku

I was double checking the specs of the chain that I purchased on another site, and under fitment only dirt bikes and ATVs are listed. Should I worry about that, or are width and number links all I have to worry about?

If you like, use a few turns of safety wire around the clip and it's side plate.

Do you have all the tools needed? How about the sprockets? (Generally speaking, it is best to replace all of them (counter shaft sprocket, chain, and rear sprocket) at the same time.) Call Jeff (Monsterparts.com) and ask what to buy, if this is your first time replacing the drive chain, before placing the order.
