With one jump per hour, Pastrana will attempt to recreate the concepts and exceed the execution of Knievel's most famous moments. As Knievel jumped over 50 cars, Pastrana will attempt to jump 52. Knievel jumped 14 Greyhound buses, and Pastrana will raise that amount by two as well. Then the fountain jump.

It looked more impressive when Evel did it. It might be that I was a kid.

Evel's bike was likely 200 lbs heavier and a shade more than half the power....
Evel was nowhere remotely close to the level of athlete that Travis is. (actually he was an alcoholic wife beater) At 350lbs jumping the Indian would be like jumping a Monster. Roland did tweak the suspension and brakes, but other than exhaust the engine was stock. Travis was trying to 'honor' Evel from his attempt 50yrs ago. Apples and Starfruit. ;)
When Gary attempted the jump, but tried to get more speed coming at an angle. Jump is at 1:33.

Evel's first televised jump which took place during a race. Triumph 650(?) was what he jumped early on.

Robbie's jump at Caesars, back before he got loopy.

Those landing ramps are small!! Pastrana's ramp was like 3 times the size.

Yeah, we're clever and stuff! 😜
Yep. With that fancy book learnin'. ;D
Travis looked worse for wear IMO. His knees looked like they were destroyed. I've always enjoyed him and his antics. Hope he's not too jacked up to live a normal life after his moto days are over. From how he looked and walked, I'm guessing it's too late.
It also looked like he and his wife were having words after he jumped into the fountain. LOL
Hi risk job thats for sure. Its funny that a bloke with melon sized nuts can still get in trouble with the missus. [laugh]
Well, they have half the money and all the ..... ;)
