Title: How to clean Ducati leather tank cover/bag Post by: The ModFather on August 30, 2018, 06:20:41 PM Picked up a used leather Ducati tank cover/bag combo. Anyone have one of these and know the best way to clean it? Cleaning leather always makes me nervous for fear of ruining it.

I'd ask them. Title: Re: How to clean Ducati leather tank cover/bag Post by: S21FOLGORE on August 30, 2018, 11:45:02 PM They are made by BAGSTER.

Ducati does'n make every single items they sell as Ducati Performance kit / parts. They find the company who makes those above average products, re-badge their stuff with DP logo, and sell them at higher price. Title: Re: How to clean Ducati leather tank cover/bag Post by: The ModFather on September 04, 2018, 05:30:42 AM FYI for anyone that comes across this post looking for an answer. After much internet scouring and debating purchasing Leather Masters cleaning and conditioning solution I instead used a bowl of luke warm water with a couple drops of Dawn Liquid detergent and an oz of vinegar. Microfiber cloth, cleaned and immediately dried without saturating the material. After it was clean and dry I sparingly used Meguiars Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner being careful to distribute evenly. I'm quite happy with the results.
