Right out of the gate I think they blew it with the MSRP. Should be ~$10K cheaper to make a real go of it, IMO.
Shame, because after riding a buddy's Zero last summer I could see having an electric bike in the stable. Liked the looks of this one too.
Agree on the price. Very few riders are gonna plunk down $30K. I got to hand it to Harley for giving it a go though.

I think they'll sell one to everyone who wants one, and that'll be it.

I really kind of dig that scooter thing with the ring headlight and the storage space where the powerplant would normally be. 8)

Hell yeaah! It reminds me of my first mini bike with a Briggs & Stratton engine, but much cooler.
Well I can see it now leaking Lead Acid everywhere ................. Because you know the Harley guys think that Lithium is way to modern
[evil] [evil] [evil] [evil] [evil] [evil]
considering I could buy 2 Zeros for that price and ride twice as far....
Way too much for too little range. $30k is base msrp... it only goes up from there. And then you need to get it out the door.
100 urban mile range, 70-60% of that for highway...
Missing the mark IMO
sooo. 7 years later. Anyone ride one?
I got a chance to ride one the other day and then became very interested in owning one. It does about 100 miles per charge in urban conditions and probably the best commuter bike ever. Much cheaper now than on release day and its no longer harley brand but its own brand called LiveWire.
