Title: handlebar freeplay , monster 696
Post by: aleq88 on April 06, 2019, 06:58:41 AM
Hello guys , for a while i experinced a small freeplay in my handlebar when  i ride my bike over small bumps and at small speeds... I was thinking  that this freeplay could come from the yoke bearings... What do you think , should i try tighten this nut a little bit? Thank you very much (https://i.ibb.co/0yq6K2F/2019-04-05-17-36-31.jpg) (https://ibb.co/GQ789pt)

yes , that one loose first beacause you cannot move the nut if that bolt is tight

If you don't know how to check and adjust head bearings I suggest letting a pro do it.

Does the nut crack must be alligned with the triple clamp crack?
