So . . . Lily had a little issue on SA in Lewiston, ID where she didn't want to start . . . took a while but she did.

Now, I gots me a bike no starty in the parking lot at work waiting for Wifezilla to come and pick me up!  [bang]

Called Motocorsa and they can't come get her today.  Called EDR and they'll check the PCIII out for free tomorrow.  Called the towing company . . . they'll be here tomorrow at 9AM.  Poor girl has to be out in the cold night . . .

So far I've been pretty pleased with EDR but I gotta tell you I called them 2 weeks ago about some issues I was having with fuel supply and they didn't call back.  So I called again and they didn't call back.  I was mostly OK with it becuase she started and/or kept running.  Today though . . . with a "dead" bike in the parking lot I'm not so OK with their lack of response!

And since when does Motocorsa not come out and get you same day?  WTF?

Anyone out there remember customer service?

i hate to ask, so what are symptoms?  Its carbed right?  Will it not turn over or just wont start up?

Yours doesnt have the immobilizer on it does it?

Turns over great.  Won't start.  After a few attempts smells like gas.  MotoCorsa had me pull a plug last night and the socket was full of gas and the plug was black.  No, she's EFI.

Of course it started right up this morning at EDR without any hesitation.  They're going to look at the PCIII to see if it's that.  If not Daric at Cheshire will pick her up.

Remind me next time Uhaul and not tow truck!  G-zus I thought the $95 charge plus mileage was OK and with all the hassle, the cost of tie downs etc. that it would be close to a wash . . . WRONG!

I was so PISSED about the bike starting this morning!  I know it's something that needs to get fixed but why couldn't it have started last night so I coulda got it home and arranged a truck or something over the weekend?

How is your battery?  Have EDR do a load test on it to see if it's still good.  I had the same problem with my S4.  There would be enough power to turn it over alright but not enough to get enough spark to the plugs.  Especially if the plugs are even slightly wet.  Motocorsa told me this and said the plugs could be fouled as well.  Replace them.

Can't just clean 'em?  I dont' have much mileage on them.  They're only like 2 months old or so.

If they are fouled, they are no good.  It's like being prego's .....

If you need a battery let me know, i have an extra gel battery and man those things never go dead.

If that's true then it's not the battery.  i replaced the stocker with a gel 2 years ago.

Eric found some lean spots in the mapping and adjusted them.  No troubles starting with dozens of tries . . . time will tell.

Yah, so Ryan . . . Gary told me my exhaust is "too free" and I should replace it.  Suggested some Leo Vince they have in stock.

lift the tank and see if the PCIII is cycling

meaning that the lights on top do their thing

the connector that they give you for the main power supply to that unit is a chincy piece of shit

it might be working right now simply because you or someone else moved the wire
